Debra Blaze

According to Debra's brother, Jeff, she died at the age of 45. She was living in Australia (Perth), going through a difficult divorce, while close to earning her PhD.  She had lived in Norway, England, and Chile prior to Australia. She was given her PhD posthumously after her death.  She was loved very much by her family.

(1976, Independent P-T) DEBRA BLAZE became Mrs. Anthony Temple In an international ceremony In Slavanger, Norway.  Debra Is the daughter of Henry Blaze and Vina Blaze both of Long Beach. She met her Engllsh-born bridegroom while stationed in Norway as a flight attendant for TWA. He is a professional photographer in Stavangcr.  When wedding plans began to form, mom Vina went to England to meet Anthony's family and to give her blessing to the intended marriage which was solemnized in the Bahai faith. Participating in the vow exchange were members of the Bahal faith from Norway, Sweden, South Africa and the United States. The couple had an extended honeymoon. They traveled to England, and Chicago, III., (then to Long Beach where Debra is an alumna of Millikan High School. She also attended UC at Santa Barbara and its campus in Norway. They returned to make a first home In Slavanger, after a stop in Hawaii.
