I was deeply saddened to read the news of Myra's passing. Myra was and has always been such a sweet, wonderful, and caring person. Even though so many years have passed since we were kids in high school I still have fond memories or her kindness toward everyone. Myra was one of a kind and a dear sweet soul.

My condolences to her family and know that God needed another angel and called her name. Rest in peace Myra.

Hearing this saddens me.  Myra was a very sweet lady and always had a big smile.  God is lucky to have her.

I am so sad that we have lost Myra. We had a long visit and shared a lot of laughs at the reunion. She was truly a light in the room. Many, many blessings.

I last spoke with Myra at our 50th reunion.  We had been friends and had known each other for over 60 years.  Though our contacts after Millikan were generally at reunions and the included activities, growing up as neighbors, we all knew everyone who played up and down Nipomo Ave. until the street lights came on.  As Beth wrote so well, Myra was always a nice, caring, and warm person throughout our years at Emerson, Stanford, and Millikan or at the reunions.  Her greetings and conversations were always ones where her positive life attitude was evident.  That was a gift to all who knew her.

So sorry to hear about Myra! We were friends in high school, but I really got to know her later in life. We live in the same area in Huntington, her husband Ron was our mailman, and I had the pleasure of coaching her son Brian for a number of years in soccer. They belong to our parrish in HB. Her and Ron were always so supportive and such good people. I ran into her and Ron a few months ago and I knew she was having problems but I didn't know specificly what she was going thru. ALS is a brutal disease that is so devastating to everyone involved. My heart and my prayers go out to the family. She was a lovely, caring person! Rest In Peace Lynne!
