Robin Nelson 2-9-51 to 12-5-14
Robin passed away December 5, 2014 at the age of 63.  He was diagnosed with renal carcinoma (kidney cancer) 10 years prior. His kidney was removed and Robin was in remission for about 6-7 years.  His last few years he fought hard, undergoing strong chemo therapy and radiation. Robin never wanted to worry anyone, didn’t talk about it much and did not want the focus to be on him.  He passed away peacefully at home with his daughter Jamie, son Kenny and his sister Joni Mae Nelson-King by his side.  He was married to Barbara Blethen and they have the most amazing grandchildren.  

A sad note to add:  Robin and Barbara both passed from cancer within a short span of each other and their children and grandchildren lost them both to cancer.
