Death - 27 Aug 2005
David was survived by his wife, Laura A. Sandford; son, Damion; and daughter, Nicole.
His son, Damion wrote:
"As I watched my Father slowly dying from cancer, I saw something I didn't expect. When Oxycontin and Morphine pills and a pump didn't work to control his pain, smoking Marijuana DID! When he encountered nausea and a loss of appetite from his chemo and radiation treatments Smoking Marijuana was the only thing that helped.

I was very glad to see Dave's In Memory posted. In recent times I have been in contact with his widow Laura and what a delightful person. I have good memories of Dave as his Mother Janet was a mentor to me for many years. Dave and his family are still in my thoughts and Prayers.
