I'm sorry Chuck is gone. I always liked Chuck while in school and he lived the opposite of where I lived on Carfax. He lived either next door or one house from one of my best friends Anne Welke. This is so sad to me to know.

Thanks Tad for the article about Chuck. He was a great kid. I had heard he passed years ago from a brain tumor, but never knew any of the details. He was a good person that passed way too soon. I always felt sorry for his parents as I was told he was an only child. So sad, but it is nice to hear that others remember Chuck. He may be gone, but he is certainly not forgotten.

Wow what a story.  I played football with him for 3 years.  I was injured in my Junior year and Chuck replaced me and did a great job.  In our senior year I noticed something about Chuck and asked Coach Hull if their was a problem.  He told me that Chuck has some medical issues but told me no more.  I always wondered how he died, and now know he was a warrior with the nick name of Lovable Charles Turton.  I liked him and he was my friend. I am so sorry that he had to deal with such issues and die fairly young.
