Classmate, Sandy Anglin Phillips, and her husband, Lonnie Phillips, gave an informal talk to describe the work they have done as Survivors Empowered. They founded this organization in the wake of the murder of their daughter, Jessi, at the Aurora Movie Theater Mass Shooting.
