Jill Rivett (Humphrey)

Jill died of complications from Renal Disease.

Her Daughter, Shannon, posted
the following on her Facebook Page:

“Hello to all of Jill’s family and friends. This is her daughter Shannon. I am writing to let you know that Jill passed away on Friday, February 3rd. She passed peacefully at home with her children by her side. We have planned services as follows at Forest Lawn Cypress:

  • Visitation: 2/21 from 4-8pm
  • Graveside Service: 2/22 at 10:30am
  • Reception details to follow once finalized.

We would love to see you, but understand if you can’t make it.”

Jill was one very involved in the committee that planned and produced the 50-year Reunion. She once said it was one of her best experiences. She worked very hard, yet was always friendly, open and helpful. She took great pride in the results, and probably made a few new friends along the way.

Jill was a great friend in High School and after. We walked together at graduation and served together on the 50th Reunion committee. Jill will be truly missed!

I was lucky enough to know Jill from junior high through high school. She was always the kindest and most caring classmate. She remembered everything and everyone and at each reunion over the past 50 years she would greet you with a smile and warm welcome as if you just saw her yesterday. I am sorry to hear of her passing and wish her family the best.

Really so sorry to hear about Jill's passing and very well said Mike McGinnis--her embracing and welcoming smile and greeting at the 50th reunion set the tone for the entire event.

Jill was an accomplished, bright, sweet thoughtful friend. I'm saddened to hear of her passing. Our friendship grew closer as we continued to visit by way of the intimate group of girlfriend luncheons.  If you were lucky enough to be her friend she would never let you down in any way. We shared special times and laughs ...she will be missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and many of the friends we knew growing up together. ❤️
