Dale Preston Neptune was born 27 May 1950 in Long Beach, California. He was married Lorelei Janice Laurie (Lakewood '68) on 29 August 1970 and they honeymooned on Catalina Island. They had four children during their marriage. Dale passed away 3 July 1996, in Burbank, California, and was buried in Whittier, California.
