Vicki Roberts Ursery "Vic" Vicki Roberts Ursery "Vic", 57, a resident of Cerritos for 35 years passed away on November 21, 2007. Vic was born on June 10, 1950 in Long Beach. She worked as a Human Resources Administrator for Boeing for 35 years with an AA Degree in business. She is survived by her mother, Marge Roberts of Long Beach; husband, Calvin Ursery of Cerritos, CA; brother, Gary Roberts of Seal Beach, CA; son, Daniel Ursery of Cerritos, CA; and daughter, Kelly Ursery of Cerritos, CA. Memorial service was held on Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00pm in the Los Altos United Methodist Church, 5950 E. Willow St., Long Beach. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org

I was in Vicki's class, for our first few years at Cubberley Elementary. I recall her as quiet and athletic... which shouldn't be surprising, because her mother, Marge, was our playground director: "Coachie."
