Marcia died due to kidney failure at age 66.

Marcia graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cal State Long Beach and earned a Master of Science degree from Washington State University. She became a technical writer, working for Pertec Computer Coporation, Contorol Data Corporation, Qlogic, ADC, Ericsson, Toshiba and other computer manufacturing companies.

I remember Marcia from highschool but mostly have known her as a patient of mine. She was always upbeat despite the health struggles she had in the end. She would take her oxygen everywhere and not be intimidated to wear a mask. Bless her soul
