James Brian Sharpless was born 19 September 1950 in Kern County, California.
He was employed as a truck driver in Indiana at the time of his death. He passed away 31 May 1981 in Hammond, Indiana, at age 30. RIP

Jim Sharpless, or as I called him, Jimmy, was a dear friend of mine in high school. What I remember of Jimmy was how sweet he was and he hung out with Rick Hicks and some other boys who lived, as Jimmy did, in El Dorado Park Estates. Jimmy married my best friend, Debi King and they had one son named Jim after his dad. I was completely shocked to hear of his death at such a young age. Jimmy left behind an amazing son who has done quite well for himself.
